Country Road window VM using their carry bags. Simple. Eye catching. I like it.

Dramatic decal
Matt Gibson Architecture transformed this existing glass shop front with a decal to dramatic effect for Fame Agenda. A great cost effective "re-use/recycle" rather than "re-fit" solution. You can find Fame Agenda at Melbourne Central.

Love the simplicity of this window VM. Via DDI.
Taking them into the fold
My attempts at Origami are always a bit NQR. I am happy to report the up-and-coming design dudes at RMIT have their folding down to a fine art as demonstrated by this floating paper canopy. Stylecraft commissioned a collective of students to contribute to Saturday in Design. Their delicate, striking cluster of crisp white paper 'chatterboxes' was a stand out.
Picking up on the pieces
No 1 niece and I took a tour together last Saturday (Saturday in Design). We loved the Barbarian collection by those kooky cool Campana Bros. Spotted at SPACE 629 Church St Richmond.

Milton’s makin’ it for you
Milton is a mixed use space. Part shop, part workshop, part gallery, part home. We usually find these little gems in back streets but the lovely Amy has set up her screen printing salon and shop full of bespoke goodies smack bang in the middle of Greville St. Her boyfriend crafts the handmade men's shoe range and her botanical inspired bed sheets are simply stunning. With Aesop about to open a few doors down, Ladro, and the very addictive Mag Nation on this strip, Greville St is definitely going in the right direction. A Place Called Milton, 153 Greville St Prahran. Open Friday - Sunday at very civilised hours or by appointment.
